What Is Allergy Testing?
Allergy testing is a diagnostic process used to identify the specific substances — allergens or irritants — that are triggering your skin reactions. Allergic Contact Dermatitis
Occurs when skin reacts to a substance it’s sensitized to — fragrances, metals, preservatives, or sunscreen ingredients — causing redness, itching, or blistering at the point of contact.
Environmental & Seasonal Allergens
Pollen, dust mites, and mold can trigger or worsen eczema and hives. In Hawaii’s year-round warm climate, these allergens are present continuously — making them harder to identify without testing.
